In April I had the incredible privilege of attending an artist residency on the south coast of France at La Napoule Art Foundation. I was part of a cohort of 10 artists (all from Canada!) that spent a month in the Chateau de la Napoule. We were each given a dedicated studio space and invited to use it for the pursuit of our individual projects. I was testing fabric types printed with photographs and experimenting with installation ideas. I also continued making trash books as part of an ongoing project while there. It was a truly regenerative time, a gift.
